About FX Techie Speed Test

FX Techie Speed Test is a free internet speed testing tool built for Indian broadband, fibre and mobile users. It measures how fast your connection downloads and uploads data, and how responsive it is under load.

How the test works

Latency is sampled with repeated lightweight requests; the median becomes your ping and the variation between samples becomes your jitter. Download and upload throughput are measured with continuous streaming transfers over roughly eight seconds each, so the result reflects sustained real-world speed instead of a short burst.

Reading your result

• Download — streaming, browsing and downloads. 25+ Mbps handles 4K video.
• Upload — video calls, cloud backups and posting media.
• Ping — responsiveness. Under 30 ms is excellent for gaming.
• Jitter — stability. Under 10 ms keeps calls smooth.
